It’s all well and good having a super-slim mobile phone, laptop or MP3 player, but if you’re using it a lot, or on an overnight trip, it’s bound to need charging at some point. And unlike your gadgets, a standard three-pin plug adapter isn’t anywhere near as thin and easy to pack. Or at least, it wasn’t.
Avoid having to cram one of those typical three-pronged spacehogs into your hand luggage and take a Fold Flat USB Mains Charger instead. Cleverly designed to fold to a thickness of 20mm, this svelte DC charger will slip easily into any handbag or jacket pocket. What’s more, by folding the pins together they’re less likely to damage any surrounding material. When you need to charge your gizmo, the mains plug unfolds in a simple two-step process that leaves you wondering why no one thought of it before. Ingenious!
This is the stand that transforms an iPhone into a more comfortable desktop handset phone. With its retro feel, this could be a great addition to your desk. No idea about the sound quality from the handset, as this device is from a Korean outfit with no UK distribution at the moment. If you have one of these phones, let me know what you think. More information from the Funshop.

Agloves are work with any and all of your touch screen phones, cameras, multimedia devices, game systems, and eReaders. See a partial list here
Will they scratch my screen?
No. Agloves have silver in them, but the silver is knitted with other fabrics to make the gloves smooth and soft … for you and your touchscreen.
What happens if they get wet?
Not only are Agloves 100% water safe, moisture actually improves their conductive power. Agloves are not waterproof. They are terrific as glove liners.
Do they work for outdoor sports?
You bet. The fabric is perfect for runners, cyclers, hikers, walkers, skiers, boarders, you name it. The Agloves fabric keeps your hands surprisingly warm without making them too hot. Agloves are suitable as gloves or as glove liners.
We’re happy to answer any and all of your queries. Like a good set of gloves, providing a quality product on the one hand would mean nothing if we didn’t pair it with quality service on the other. If we didn’t answer your question somewhere else, use our contact us form or email us directly at info@agloves.com
What are Agloves?
Agloves are everyday knit gloves reinvented for a touch screen world. They are gloves you can text in, type in, call in. Knitted with a special conductive material, Agloves allow users to effectively operate iPhones, iPads, Droids, MP3 players, and all other capacitive touch screen devices while staying warm.
Why are they called Agloves?
Agloves derive their name from the periodic table of the elements’ symbol for silver. Silver is the key ingredient that allows Agloves to actually work on touch screens, so we had to incorporate it into the name.
How well can I text with Agloves?
Precision, precision, precision. Before we designed anything else we made sure that when wearing our gloves people could text and type with accuracy. What good are touch screen gloves if you cannot text or type? Agloves get an A+ for precision. The snug, lightweight design provides great precision. Some users even tell us that they can text more easily because of the ooomph of conductivity provided by the silver.
How can lightweight gloves be warm?
This question is asked often. Agloves appear to be too lightweight to be warm. Give them a try, you might be surprised. Silver provides natural thermal conductivity to even out temperatures in your hand. It traps infrared radiation generated by the body keeping the wearer warmer in cold weather. You body heat stays inside the Agloves to keep your hands warm and you texting. You can double up two pairs of Agloves to create greater thickness and you will still have great conductivity. If you participate in outdoor sports such as skiing, we recommend that you use Agloves as a glove liner.
What makes Agloves special?
Precision, Warmth, Ten-Fingers. All of this is made possible because of actual silver, #47 on the periodic table. Agloves are made with silver-coated-nylon fibers knitted into a comfortable fabric that puts conductivity into your gloves.
All ten fingers, really?
Really. You’ve got ten fingers. Not two or three or four or six. Ten. Shouldn’t you be able to use them all? (Or your knuckles, your palm, or the heel of your hand for that matter?) Having silver in every fiber of your gloves means you can use all ten fingers on full-sized screens such as Ipads. Agloves let you do a four finger swipe on your MacBook Pro or Trackpad. Any finger, any time. Like magic. Only warmer. Watch 10-finger demo on the right side of our homepage, about half way down
Do Agloves work when it gets really cold?
Yes. We did informal tests of Agloves by putting ourselves in a meat freezer at minus 10 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes. (Do not try this at home: No one should stand still for 25 minutes at these temperatures.) At the end of 25 minutes (we couldn’t take it anymore) we tested Agloves and they worked like a charm. Agloves keep working because the conductive material is knitted through every inch of each pair. If your fingertips lose conductivity (because they are too cold and dry) the rest of your hand picks up the slack, and that conductivity travels up your fingers to the device. All fingers. All temperatures. All the time.
What is the life expectancy of Agloves?
This depends on actual use. The materials in this glove are very durable (continuous filament nylon and spun polyester). The silver does not “wear” off or “wash” off.
Are they washable?
Absolutely. In fact, water helps silver release its ions, so washing will make your gloves even more effective. Best to hand wash or machine wash gentle cycle and line dry.
What do they feel like?
Lightweight. Snug. Soft, warm, stretchy and slightly fuzzy.
What size should I get?
You will have greater finger dexterity with a snug fit. Agloves are unisex, and the stretchy fabric allows the gloves to fit most hand sizes. S/M fits hand sizes 5.5” to 7.5”. M/L fits hand sizes 7.0” to 9.0”. See size chart on the bottom of the shopping page. Contact us if you have a glove size larger than 9.5 inches and we will send you a custom glove at no extra cost.
Logitech has introduced the Logitech® Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 — the company’s first light-powered keyboard. The Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard powers itself whenever there’s light, even indoors, making battery hassles a thing of the past.
“The keyboard is still the best input device for typing emails and IMs, updating your Facebook™ page or posting responses to your favorite blogs — and the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 is the next big innovation in keyboard technology,” said Denis Pavillard, vice president of product marketing for Logitech’s keyboards and desktops. “The Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard is powered by light but can work in total darkness for up to three months. Plus, with its PVC-free construction and fully recyclable packaging, it’s designed to minimize its footprint.”
Powered by Light — Even Indoors
To give you hassle-free convenience, the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard powers itself through its integrated solar panel — no power bricks or charging cables needed.
The included solar power app (available for download beginning Nov. 15, 2010 at www.logitech.com/k750/solarapp) a lux meter to help you get the necessary light, makes it easy to get at-a-glance information about battery levels, and even alerts you when you need more power.
Logitech’s first solar keyboard can be powered by indoor light and stays charged for at least three months in total darkness. Plus an integrated power-indicator light eliminates surprises.
Only 1/3-Inch Thick
But Logitech did much more than bring solar power to the keyboard.
At only 1/3-inch thick, the sleek Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard looks good. With its rounded edges and thin profile, this stylish, streamlined keyboard is a joy to hold and behold.
Feel-Good Typing
The low-profile keyboard features Logitech Incurve keys™. Using a concave design, Incurve keys support the shape of your fingertips, while helping guide your fingers to the right keys. In addition, the soft, rounded edges make it easy for your fingers to glide from key to key.
Powerful, Reliable Wireless Connection with Logitech Unifying Technology
The Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 offers Logitech Advanced 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity, keeping you connected with virtually no delays or dropouts, so you get all the benefits of a cord, with the convenience of wireless. Logitech Advanced 2.4 wireless also includes 128-bit AES encryption with the keyboard — one of the highest levels of security available.
Plus, the tiny Logitech® Unifying receiver is small enough to stay in your laptop, so there’s no need to unplug it when you move around. And you can easily add up to six Logitech Unifying and Unifying-ready mice and keyboards — without the hassle of multiple USB receivers.
Pricing and Availability
The Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 is expected to be available in the U.S. and Europe in November 2010 for a suggested retail price of $79.99 (U.S.). To learn more about the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 please visit www.logitech.com or our blog for more information.

The importance of the keyboard and pointing device you use everyday should not be underestimated–after all, it’s the only method you regularly use to interact with your computer. Many people today spend as much time in front of a computer as they do sleeping. Standard desktop mice and keyboards waste a great deal of precious desktop space and physical energy–not to mention they are a confusing eyesore that look and feel like a cheap child’s toy.
